Comic #162: Persephoni’s Breaking Point

Monday, July 11th, 2011

This is the final page of the “Birthday Party” storyline, and the first glimpse into Chelsea’s background within the context of the comic. I’ve always said she was an orphan (it’s even in her character description in the cast section), but never showed her adopted parents or any glimpse of her life behind closed doors. In the next story arc, Persephoni is going to discuss openly why Chelsea feels so isolated.

Perhaps there may be a reason behind her antisocial behavior after all.

Also, thanks to a recent donation, the next page will be in full color!

Chelsea… maybe if some light where shed on her dark past, Peter might be able to help her where Persephoni and Seth can’t. For her sake, I hope he can…

  2. MacDiver Says:

Don’t know about that, Felix. Right now is kind of a point of no return event. Either Peter is hunted down and/or outcasted based on Chelsea’s actions, or Chelsea is exposed and the same happens to her. There is really not a good way for either to help, even if a traumatic past is revealed. The only way status quo could be maintained is if Zeus decended from a crane, proclaimed that this was just a simple comic, and start directing everyone to where they needed to be for the “correct” ending. But with great status quo changes comes interesting story arcs and a lack of stagnation, so it will interesting just the same.

Ooooo, this going to get interesting.

Not to Mention, McDiver, the legal aspects. I’m with you on this one. This is NOT going to send well.
