Comic #155: Speaking From the Heart
Monday, May 23rd, 2011You would think with as many problems Peter has had with being able to speak to Whitney on a coherent level, he would be more open to suggestions from Seth on how to approach the situation. Ahh well.
On a side note for this page: as a kid, I always took the extra time when wrapping presents to make bows from scratch rather than just use the pre-made ones. Origami was one of my favorite hobbies growing up, so to me, gift wrapping was always just an extension of that. I don’t make the bows anymore — people have a tendency to just rip into gifts without noticing little flourishes like that — but I still go a bit crazy with eccentric wrappings when the holidays come around.

Hahaha… YES! I think the last two panels you came up with are perfect! My you did quite a fast job on the inking too. I’m impressed!
One question though: Panel #3 (center left) - Is the gift box supposed to look as if it’s got a longer end facing Peter, than what the rest appears to be resting in his hands?
(Wink) Oops.

Yay! New page! This shall surely make my monday, hehe
But, wait, what is Whitney’s present supposed to be? Did Peter take Chelsea’s advice in the end? I hope he didn’t… º.º
Oh, well, I guess we’ll have to wait and see

@Muddypaws: HAHA, dang it. You’re right. Man, that’ll be like the third time I have to touch up that panel for some reason, too. I’m almost inclined to just leave it, but yeah… that’ll bug me if I don’t fix it. I’ll take care of it when I get home from work today.
