This final piece of guest artwork was produced by none other than my fiance, Whitney. She wanted to contribute with her own take on the growing friendship between Peter and Whitney within the comic. Chelsea apparently managed to catch Peter at a time when Seth was nowhere to be found, so Whitney is taking over the role of Guardian (or caretaker, as it would seem). I absolutely love how it came out; it’s definitely one of Whitney’s best pieces. You can see the rest of her phenomenal work at her art blog.

Also, this marks the first image where Whitney is colored using her new coloring scheme. I originally had made her sort of a Russian Blue coloring, which ended up being too dark and not a good representation of my fair-skinned fiance. With the upcoming launch of the new cast pages, I will be introducing a new coloring scheme for her consisting of light purple fur and darker purple hair, which should hopefully clarify things a bit. I’ll keep her previous appearances in the comic colored their original colors just to preserve the change — plus, I’m not a fan of going back and changing old work to reflect current designs. I like seeing how things evolve over time, y’know?
