The start of this story arc kicks off with Peter’s mom getting her first encounter with Peter’s invisible friend. Up until this point I haven’t featured Peter and Ezzy’s parents to any extent beyond the occasional single-strip cameo. I think it’s time they got a bit more screen time, so you can expect to learn a bit more about them in the coming few pages — including their names. Ooooo.

Also, this page is further proof that I’m a freak who thinks backgrounds are fun.

Some quick updates on a few things:
- The voice auditions are still in full swing, and I have not made any official choices yet for character voices. I am close to narrowing down my decisions for a few, but I still would like to reassure everyone that they are still open for anyone who would like to send in a recording. The characters that have received the most auditions are Seth, Ezzy, and the Worms (it seems everyone is gunning for the main character spots. Keep in mind, that’s a lot of responsibility!). I’d love to hear some samples of other characters such as Peter’s parents, Jeff & Eddy, Chelsea, Persephoni, Fritz, Dr. Munchkinn, Iggy, or Skin. If any of those roles sound like an opportunity for you, by all means send in your audition!
- I will be updating the Chronicles of Ademar blog soon with new sketches and conceptual work. It’s been about a year since I last posted on there, and admittedly I had put the comic on a back burner while focusing on P&C and school projects. I think it’s time to bring it back to the front and you can expect to see some good posts there over the next few months. I’ll be adding new material every Monday afternoon (starting next week), so be sure to check it out once that kicks back in to high gear.
