Comic #105: The Practice Dummy
Monday, April 28th, 2008Persephoni has always had the ability to transform into an ordinary bunny rabbit to keep close to Chelsea, but up until now that has been the extent of her “morphing” abilities. Finally the question is answered as to whether or not she can turn into anything else at whim. The Elite Guardians are indeed able to change their appearance to whatever they need for a given situation. This gives them the ability to adapt quickly to keep their child out of danger, all while keeping said child in the dark as to the existence of the Guardians.
In other words, Persephoni could easily disguise herself as someone close to Chelsea in order to directly interact with her, but she is required to stay in-character as long as she is visible. This is why she feels like she can “never truly be close to Chelsea,” as she had mentioned in a previous comic.

glad your back and making the good stuff and i hope your felling better. lol funny strip, i know exactly how that goes, my girlfriend always does that, talks all up in your face, makes you all uncomfortable and wont let you get a word in edgewise.

This comic has to be my favorite in the story so far, mainly because of the last panel where Peter just looks like he has exploded, it’s so cute, I can’t wait to see the next panel lol well actually I have seen all of the panels for the story but I have yet to see them in COLOR, so start working.

Oh my goodness! Your creativeness with visually expressing emotion never ceases to amaze me. It’s inspiring. I need to step up my art. I just don’t know in what way yet. I just know that this is showing me how far short I’m falling.

I would say the 7th panel is my favorite. This is actually my favorite comic in a while (saying a lot) because it really conveys how nervous Peter really is. And who hasn’t felt this way about a girl once or twice in their lives?
