Monday, April 21st, 2008Who better understands the mentality of the opposition than the opposition itself? Seth could give Peter some pointers, sure, but this whole situation really does require the assistance of a girl.
And yes, Chelsea was about to say “cigarettes” in the second panel.
I’m finally feeling back up to speed with everything that’s been on my plate for the past month. I managed to finish all of my projects that I owed from last quarter, when I had to apply for a grade of incomplete after landing in the hospital over spring break. Now that all is said and done, the only project in front of me now for the next few weeks is Peter and Company. I have exactly one month to finish the book, so it’s time to get workin’!

Oh man, that Whitney cat sure is mega sexy! Lol. I love this strip, the way you do emotions has me rolling every time. I really enjoyed the last panel of Persephoni just squealing with joy, that’s pretty darn adorable. I already read the script for the next comic and I can not wait to see how you draw that so you better HURRY up!

Hehe, thanks! I’m just glad you (more than anyone else) approve of the character design. It can be tricky to really capture someone’s likeness in a character, especially when the character is a completely different age. Although according to you, that’s how you really looked at age 13, so I guess I did a good job!
I will start drawing the pencils for the remaining comics in this story tonight.

I particularly enjoyed Persephoni’s bewilderment in the 7th panel, as well as her reaction in the last.

YAY!!!!! I’m so glad that everythings OK… and a new comic! I’ve been check at LEAST once a week to see if there was a new one, and now there is! I love all the expressions in this one, from Chelsea in panel 3, to Persephoni in panels 5-8, an dto top it off, to have her squealing with excitement. Glad you’re back. =)

Don’t sweat it, Adam, He-who-must-be-worshipped is back now so all is good. My cousin suffers from Crohn’s too & and is back to the hospital nearly every year, so I know how a pain in the ass it can be! (no pun intended, John)

nice to see a new comic. i found this site over spring break while you were out of commission and i read them all in one day, so ive been waiting for a new one since then. happy to hear your ok, i know exactly how that crap goes, school, hospital problems, ect. just glad to hear your back.

Actually Ben, mine is one of the rare 5% of Crohn’s cases that is located entirely within my stomach (lucky me, it gives me a higher chance of pancreatitis, what a trade-off), so yes, no pun intended on your part at all.
Also (to everyone), I just finished the pencils on the remaining 6 pages of this storyline, so you can expect to see a good steady stream of updates over the next couple months or so.

Yaaay, you’re back! Glad to hear you’re doing better, unless of course you aren’t and I’ve been misreading or my memories screwing with me again, in which case get better, ‘kay? I love Persephone in that last panel, reminds me of myself. ^_^

LOL the way persephoni’s face lights up in the last panel is adorable but funny aswell.
