Now I'm worried :°/

Will there be enough weeks to do the 10 updates needed for the assignement?

Alright, what's going on here? If it's going to be longer for new comics, that's fine, just drop us a line and tell us what's up. Seriously, as long as it takes for a new comic, we will all be waiting. A little sign of things to come would be appreciated.

Hope you feel better soon Jon, and I think I speak for most people here when I say we don't care how long the comic goes without updates, so long as the creator of one our fav online comics is in good health, take all the time the you need.

Thanks for your concern, guys. I posted a quick update to let you all know where I stand with my health and a bit on the next update.

Also, to answer your question, Origamist: the pancreas is the part of your digestive system that produces enzymes necessary for digestion and processing of food. It's possible for the pancreas to go into overdrive and make too much -- usually as a result from eating too much in one sitting, or any number of other possible causes, including stress and diet. When this happens, the pancreas actually starts to digest itself. It is common for the condition to walk hand-in-hand with Crohn's (which I have been fighting for the past six years). It's just as painful as it sounds and it takes a bit of time to recover from it.

It's been a while since Jon's last post. I can't help but begin to worry a little. I hope it's nothing too serious, honestly I don't know how long it takes to recover from pancreatis (I KNOW that isn't spelled right!). Some word would be nice to assuage any doubts about your condition. Take as long as you need for the new comic. Until it is posted I will be anxiously awaiting news.

I second with gforce. I'm sorry to hear about your illness, and hope that you get completely better and back to your old self. Take your time, get plenty of rest, and drink chicken noodle soup for the heck of it! =)
