Comic #103: A Small Request
Monday, February 18th, 2008Admittedly, at 12 years old, I didn’t have anyone to really ask how to approach girls my age. My older, much-cooler brother and I weren’t exactly connecting at that point, and Lord knows my own friends at the time were just as ignorant as I was on the subject. Not having the courage to produce situations where I could attempt a trial-and-error style of self-teaching was also a slight problem.
Comic-wise, for moments like these I could not be happier with the full-page format. The timing in this gag would not have been possible (or have as great of an impact) in a four-panel strip layout.
Also in news, I’m making great headway on the coloring of the archive pages for the Peter & Company Book One Collection. My new Wacom Intuos3 tablet has greatly sped up my productivity, so expect to hear an announcement on its availability in the coming month or two.
For every $30 that is donated overall, a page will be posted in full color!
Current tally: $15.00 Pages Owed: 0

Aw, that’s just adorable. I love the very slow crawl upwards. It works very well.

I like how slowly he creeps up, and I just busted out laughing at the last panel. Great job. =)

I so regret not posting more often as you update…
I guess this is the webcomic I’ll always love coming to read because, heck, it’s something so nice and beautiful about childhood, that it’s the rarest gem nowadays.
I do pity Seth though, the next pages should be quite quite interesting.
Always a pleasure coming back to read here.

Isn’t that blasphemy or something? XD
Made me laugh out loud. I love the slow progression, and Seth’s eyes when he realizes he’s there, then calmly asks, “Yes?” The following expressions are priceless. =P

Seth should’ve expected this. That slow crawl is hilarious.
