Comic #102: That New Girl

Monday, February 4th, 2008

The mystery girl is revealed, and in color! Now to find out what role she will play.

For Whitney’s character, I experimented with a few different color patterns for her hair and fur, ultimately deciding to give her a sort of Russian Blue look. For a brief moment I thought of giving her a Russian accent to match, but then I realized I was a dingbat for even considering it. Way too cliche.

This page was posted in full color as a result of the donations counter! If you’d like to see more pages updated like this (or are just feeling generous and would like to add to my tip jar), feel free to click the button below to donate funds via PayPal. Many thanks to all who donated this time!

Update: I added a new link on the sidebar under “Other Good Comics” for Planet Saturday Comics, by Monty S. Kane. This is a fantastic monthly online comic that definitely requires a read, so give it a look when you get a moment.

Current Tally: $5.00 Pages Owed: 0
$30.00 = One page in full color!

YAY! COMIC’S BACK! I figure since you’re advertising at the web comic list that you plan to keep up with updates this month.

Yay! I really like Whitney. I think my favorite panels are 4, 5, & 6. 4 for the lighting on their heads when they’re underneath the boards, 5 just ’cause it looks cute, and 6 ’cause it’s a good picture of Whitney. ‘Till next time! =)

I knew you would get us a quality comic if we were patient! I have to say that the fourth frame is my favorite (despite finally getting to see Whitney in color) for the lighting effect, and for the expression on Peter’s face. Good job!
