Comic #90: Korgar Orders Up
Monday, July 16th, 2007I have ideas for an entire series of these comics, with Korgar visiting different fast-food places and raising chaos. They’re quick one-shot deals that I’ll use for fillers between the main story arcs.
On a side note, I’m going to have to use that axe design again. It also makes you wonder how many axes Korgar keeps in his car if he can afford to leave them randomly embedded in things.
Update: Apparently, Korgar has decided to create his own MySpace page. Hop on over and add him to your friends list if you have an account! KORGAR DEMANDS YOUR FRIENDSHIP!!!
For every $30 that is donated overall, a page will be posted in full color!
Current tally: $15.00 Pages Owed: 0

Aah, Korgar…
Seriously, I finished reading this strip a few minutes ago and I still have a big, goofy smile on my face. Y’know, Korgar does that to ya, even if he’s supposed to be really creepy and angry and world destroying.
Hope to see more of everyone’s favorite alien math teacher in the future! which… I… am…

I can’t help but hear the voice of Lrrr (of Omicron Persei
from Futurama as the voice of Korgar. Anybody else?

Just found this webcomic. Very neat! I love the concept, probably because I can really identify with Peter. Plus the strip is cute and family-friendly without being sugar-coated. The worms are great.
I have mixed feelings about the switch to full-page format, after reading through the archives. It cuts a little of that nostalgic “Calvin and Hobbes” feeling that was there in the early strips for me. However, the extra character development is really neat, and the new format really established the comic as being not just gags, but also about seeing into the character’s lives. I’ve seen a lot of webcomics switch to larger page formats from the standard comic-strip style, but I think that this comic seems to be the one most fundamentally affected by the change. It really is a different comic - not in a bad way, just different.
I found “Peter and Company” on http://www.thewebcomiclist.com , fyi.

Oh my God, Plugs, that’s exactly the same voice I was hearing in my head! It just fits so well as the angry-without-reason, world-dominating, evil-overlord type of voice.

I would have just given him the happy trays. No arguing with Korgar. How does that thing still work if there’s an axe embedded in it?! Also, there’s something wrong with your websites… I tried jonponikar.com and hodgepodgecomics.com and it said i was “not authorized” to view them.

I have to say that this is my favorite comic, and not just from P&C, but all time. Better then Dilbert. I would LOVE to get my hands on a print of this to hang on my wall!
