Savannah Rain
Monday, June 4th, 2007So it hadn’t rained at all in the southeast US for months. Savannah was dry as a bone for the longest time. Then, the day I decide to move out, Tropical Storm Barry decides to hit. THANK YOU, BARRY. Needless to say, it was quite an adventure getting everything packed up and hauled to Virginia. Then, to top things off, Barry followed us up the coast for the 12-hour drive and hit us AGAIN the next day when we were trying to unload everything. A few things got a bit damp, but nothing was damaged, so it’s all good.
Long story short, I had no time to finish a comic for today, since the preliminary packing for this move started in the middle of last week and I didn’t have access to any of my art supplies during that time. I’m finally back home in Virginia and getting everything situated, so within the next day or two I will be ready to resume my artistic duties. I’ll hold off on a comic until next week just to let myself recharge a bit. This was one hell of a move.
But hey, at least I’m officially a SCAD graduate now, so that’s good. Now I just need to find a job.

The mountains of North Carolina sympathize with you, bro. But look at it this way, at least you got some sodding rain. We still have nothing.
