The stepping stones in the woods around my house weren’t quite this infamous, but they did give me some problems during my childhood. More than a few times I’d end up walking back home with a wet butt.
Whoever built those things really should have made them wider than 8 inches.

The best stepping stones are the ones that actually pose a challenge.
Honestly, if it was meant to be easy, don’t you think they would’ve built a bridge instead?
Actually, I don’t think I would’ve crossed some creeks if they had bridges. I did it for the thrill, I guess.
Then, thrill turns to soggy clothes.

Hey, I actually remember the stepping stones…. a lot of good times… Though if you are to go down there now, it is deeper you can’t slip and slide and run across like you could when we were growing up…….. Memories
