Strip #42

Tuesday, September 20th, 2005

Just to clear up any confusion, Persephoni has the ability to turn herself into a small bunny. When she does this, she is visible to everyone (even those who don’t know that Guardians exist). This is how Chelsea is kept in the dark with the Guardians, and remains unable to see Seth and the others.

Also, Chelsea refers to Persephoni as “Pearl.” I figured since Persephoni never actually speaks to Chelsea, there’s no way for her to know the bunny’s real name, so she’d naturally call her something else.

And yes, I’m aware of the logical fallacy behind an animal keeping another animal as a pet.

Oh I don’t know about that logical fallacy you mention. I mean, humans are animals too, right? ;) So an anthropomorphic rabbit character having a bunny as a pet really isn’t any weirder than a human having a monkey for a pet is.

That is a very good point.

It also depends if there are anthropomorphic rabbits, ducks cats, ect. and “regular” animals in their world as well.
