Strip #38

Tuesday, August 30th, 2005

This strip and the few I have planned to follow were all inspired by the weather patterns that have been hitting Savannah GA for the past three months straight. Nothing but humidity and thunderstorms, every single day. It’s enough to drive a man nuts!

In critique, I realize I probably should’ve made Peter a bit more slumped to really exaggerate his laziness. I’ll be sure to catch that next time.

Savannah was one of the places to which my Dad flew on training with the Virginia Air National Guard. I don’t know if it’s closed, but there used to be an Air Force or Georgia Air Guard base there. A number of faraway places became more real to me, because of his stories. That may be one reason I’ve always gotten along well with maps. Thanks for the reminder. Have fun, down there. :)
