This is the same area of real-life scenery I used for the sunday strip with the pipe (Strip #14). This strip of woods has a man-made path with a creek running alongside. It was one of the best places to go if you wanted to get away from everything for a little while.

Which is exactly what this series of strips is about; an activity I used to do all the time as a kid. Although I was never mugged by magical worms.
