This marks a couple firsts for the strip; mainly this is the first direct encounter between Peter and the worms (in the sunday strip, they never actually talked to Peter directly, so up to this point he’s had no clue they exist).

This also marks the first strip where I tried out a computer font I designed based on my own handwriting. I’m rather impressed with how it turned out (as it is now used in every strip in the archive).
